THE BLACK PANTHER IS READY FOR YOU!!!!

Hey my fellow Blerds and Blerdettes it's your friendly neighborhood Black Chivalrous Nerd Denzel Lamar once again and do i have news for you. Marvel hosted an event at Disney’s El Capitan Theater in Hollywood today where they were talking about Phase 3 of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) which starts with Avengers 2: Age of Ultron which is followed by Ant-Man starring Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas that comes out in 2015. After those two movies come out in 2015 the following movies are set to come out:

2016:

 May 6: Captain America 3

 November 4: Doctor Strange

2017:

 May 5: Guardians of the Galaxy 2

 July 28: Thor: Ragnarok

 November 3: Black Panther

2018:

 May 4: The Avengers: Infinity War, Part One

 July 6: Captain Marvel

 November 2: Inhumans

2019:

 May 3: The Avengers: Infinity War, Part Two

Now while I'm excited for all of these movies, the one movie I and other fans of this hero is ultimately excited for is the one that comes out on November 3rd, 2017. The movie I'm talking about is Black Panther.

For years fans of the Black Panther have been crying and screaming and begging Marvel to make a movie for this awesome Character. Fans have been predicting on if Marvel did a Black Panther movie, who would portray the role of the King of Wakanda and we've heard names like Denzel Washington, Jamie Foxx, Wesley Snipes (He wanted to portray Black Panther WAY before he did the Blade Movies), Idris Elba, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Peter Mensah and even Djimon Hounsou (He was Black Panther in the short lived Animated Series) was predicted to be T'Challa. Now as awesome and impressive as those names are, the man who will be representing Wakanda in Movie form is none other than Chadwick Boseman

Yes Chadwick Boseman, the man who has portrayed James Brown and Jackie Robinson will be portraying the King of Wakanda in the upcoming Black Panther movie in November of 2017 and I can't wait. Now with this news breaking, fans have now been wondering and guessing on who would be his supporting cast and we don't know but a lot of fans have been saying that if Princess Shuri is in this movie that Lupita would be perfect for that role.

Now the image above is only a prediction but I can actually see Lupita as Princess Shuri, not to mention that she would also be awesome as the Black Panther when that time comes. Now there are some people that believe that she would be the perfect Storm and I totally agree but I honestly see her as Shuri before she becomes Storm. The reason I say that is because she's already doing a Disney movie with Star Wars Episode 7 and the upcoming Jungle Book movie, so I could see her staying within the Disney family and going to be in the Black Panther Movie.

Also I think Djimon Hounsou would be great as T'Chaka, Father of T'Challa or as T'Challa's Uncle who was the Black Panther before T'Challa. The reason why I say Djimon should be casted is because he was T'Challa in the Animated Motion Series that came out a while back, even though BET failed to make it work, but I believe that it would be great to see him in this movie as a way of passing the throne and Wakanda to Chadwick Boseman.

I'm EXTREMELY excited for this project along with every other fan of this Hero. This is the movie that we've all been waiting for because this is the very first black superhero in the history of mainstream comics plus it's a Black Super Hero who is King of a country in Africa that's so advanced technology wise and intelligent wise that they had blu-ray DVD's, Smartphones and the cure for every disease in the world while everyone else in the world was wearing tye dye shirts and going to Woodstock and I think I speak for all of the fans of Black Panther and Wakanda when I say Thank You Marvel.

Now the real question is, are you ready for The Black Panther? Because, to quote Djimon Hounsou in the Black Panther Animated series, "THE BLACK PANTHER IS READY FOR YOU!!!!!!"

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to watch the Black Panther Motion Movie or listen to the theme of that show or just do those two while reading Black Panther Graphic Novels lol. More Comic Book Shows Please

Hey everyone how's it going? It's the Black Chivalrous Nerd Denzel Lamar coming to you once again with another blog post and this one is a good one.  Now as everyone knows, comic books are taking over in a big bad way and we are all excited because this is something that every nerd has been waiting for since they've been little nerds and nerdettes.  We have Gotham on Fox, The Walking Dead coming back on AMC, Arrow and the Flash on CW, Constatine on NBC, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Agent Carter on ABC, a rumored Live Action Teen Titan show on TNT, a  rumored Supergirl show in the works with TNT and a rumored X-Men live action television show in the works with FOX.  Not to mention that Netflix has Daredevil, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones and a Defenders show lined up just as well

Now there are some people that believe that there are too many Comic book shows being produced and that t's turning into overkill, but I for one would like to disagree with them and here's why.  Now to the non comic book fan, it is a little bit of overkill but to the Comic Book fan, we are only scratching the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the years of stories that these comic books have.  Not to mention that there are so many super heroes and heroines throughout the years that have yet to be portrayed on TV and could benefit from it just as well.  For example, I wouldn't mind seeing a Sci Fi show about Blue Beetle done on CW or NBC or a show based on DC super hero Icon, The Question, Mr. Terrific, Blue Devil, Birds of Prey, or Hawk and Dove being done.  Plus on the Marvel side I know there are people that wouldn't mind seeing a show featuring the Daughters of the Dragon featuring Colleen Wing and Misty Knight, or Spider-Woman,  or Black Panther, or Moon Knight, etc. 

My point is this, there are so many comic book stories out there that we are not being over-saturated with the few that we have right now.  If anything, it's just the beginning and it's only going up from here on so sit back relax kick back and enjoy the ride because these Super Hero shows are only going to get better with time.

This shit don't make no sense

I know I'm late on this and I apologize but fuck it I'm posting it anyway. So earlier this week Marvel CEO Ike Perlmutter showed his true racial and sexist colors by manipulating the system so that Disney Consumer Products chairman Andy Mooney and three other executives (all African-American women) lost their jobs. Perlfucker has gone on to make budget cuts for all Marvel projects like in the Iron Man movies. In the first movie they had Terrence Howard play War Machine and in the Sequel they had Don Cheadle play War Machine, but for less money. Perlfucker has gone on to tell Monney at the time that the change cuts cost AND Perlfucker also has gone on to say that they switched actors because no one would notice the switch because "All Black People Look The Same". Um I'm sorry but I didn't know that Terrence Howard and Don Cheadle looked the same, I don't think any would know that because THEY FUCKIN DON'T LOOK THE SAME. You have to be a member of the GOP and the Tea Party to believe that Light Skinned Terrence Howard and Dark Skinned Don Cheadle look alike. Knowing that an Asshole like Perlfucker is running things at Marvel it's no wonder that a movie for Black Panther, Luke Cage or Brother Voodoo isn't in the works and probably won't be if this piece of shit continues to be running shit.


SMH Was this week National Let's Do and Say Racial Dumb Shit Week or something because I didn't get that memo. First I hear about Sherry Jenix and now I hear about this shit? It's times like this where I'm embarrassed to call myself a comic nerd and a video game nerd because of bullshit like this that shows the ugly side of things that I love.

SuperWonder

So apparently In the comic book world, breaking up long courtships and relationships that comic book fans know and love is what's hot in the streets. First was Black Panther and Storm (DAMN YOU MARVEL, DAMN YOU TO HELL!!!!!!!!) and now the second couple to come to an end is the ever so long courtship between Clark Kent (Superman) and Lois Lane. But I did not care about this but apparently it looks like Superman is upgrading in his choice of women *Insert Beyonce's Upgrade You* because Entertainment Weekly has revealed the latest cover for the 12th issue of DC's New 52 Justice League and it looks like There is a new couple in Superman and............. *Drum roll* WONDER WOMAN!!!!!!! *insert 70's theme for wonder woman*

Now I know that there have been some SuperWonder Encounters in the past but it looks like this is going to be permanent and apparently this relationship is going to have an affect on the other heroes in the DCU but if I was a hero in the DCU why would I care about this?  Also as much as a strong Woman Firgure that Wonder Woman is, to go from dating Steve Trevor to now gettin smashed by Superman is kinda suspect plus Superman gettin in between those two is crazy but I guess when you're the man of steel you can do whatever the fuck you want.  But also this relationship would be cool because these two can actually be themselves instead of hiding their true identities so I'm also excited about it.

Justice League #12 is going to be on Sale next week so be on the look out for that

NARUTO UPDATE: We have gameplay I repeat we have game play

This just in... As of right now there are three videos on YouTube featuring three NOW CONFIRMED playable characters. Now I've seen the videos and I just wanna say that it looks like they've cleaned up some aspects of the game a Little bit.  They definitely changed they health and chakra bar, the subsitution Jutsu bar is still up there and it looks like they've made the game a little more fluid gameplay wise. I can't wait to get this game.

Okay so if you are reading the Avengers VS. X-Men Comic Book And you read the current issue "Round 9" then you know where this anger is coming from and this is not a post but another rant and it goes as such. WHAT THE FUCK? REALLY? YOU'RE GOING TO BREAK UP THE GREATEST HERO COUPLE OF ALL TIME DURING THIS CRAZY BATTLE BETWEEN TWO OF MARVEL'S GREATEST FACTIONS? THIS IS SOME BULLSHIT I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT STAN LEE GAVE JASON AARON THE OKAY TO BREAK UP T'CHALLA AND STORM!!! I'M SO GLAD THIS SERIES HAS THREE MORE ISSUES LEFT CAUSE THIS ONE PANEL JUST RUINED THE REST OF THE BOOK FOR ME.......... I'M NOT AMUSED NOR AM I HAPPY ABOUT THIS. Apparently there is speculation that this move was to set up for the Black Panther Movie (That is if Marvel aren't too much of scared Lil bitches to man up and make one with an accredited AFRICAN ACTOR to portray T'Challa) but my thing is this. Why would you break them up to set up for a movie it's so stupid and wrong? I'm sorry I know I said this was gone be a rant but my head hurts after seeing this so imma lay down now.

I call Bullshit on Marvel

So during Comic Con, Marvel announced the new movies that are either filming now, about to start filming, or in post production. The movies are Iron Man 3, Captain America 2 (hopefully featuring Falcon), Thor 2, Ant Man, and Guardians of the Galaxy. When the Co-President of Marvel Was asked by MTV about the potential of a black panther movie this is what he said:

"He has a lot of the same characteristics of a Captain America: great character, good values... But it's a little more difficult, maybe, creating [a world like Wakanda]. It's always easier basing it here. For instance, 'Iron Man 3' is rooted right here in Los Angeles and New York. When you bring in other worlds, you're always faced with those difficulties."

So Making Asgard with the Rainbow Bridge for Thor is easy, making a movie about guardians in space that feature a fuckin raccoon (where most people prolly know him from a video game) is easy. But when it comes to doing a movie for The First Black Mainstream Superhero, and King of an African Country that is far more Advanced than America is hard?

So if Wakanda Was what Most Americans believe is which is savage would it be better for Marvel to do the film? Or is it because Marvel and the rest of white Hollywood is scared to do it because there are NO MAJOR WHITE LEADS IN BLACK PANTHER. Is it because the Black Panther Movie would mostly be Black People that they don't know how to pitch it? As someone who has been dying for an Actual Black Panther movie I feel disrespected from Marvel. You assholes decided to do a movie featuring a fucking raccoon over T'Challa? You decided to do a movie of a super hero that beats his woman over T'Challa? FUCK YOU MARVEL
