THE DARK SON RISES: DAMIAN 'Returns' in KUBERT's SON OF BATMAN

Hey guys what's going on this is the the Black Chivalrous Nerd and by the title of this post you know what I'm about to talk about.  Earlier this year, World Renown and fan favorite author Grant Morrison shocked comic book readers when he killed Damian Wayne in Issue 8 of Batman, Inc. Volume 2 entitled R.I.P. that had Robin in front of a bright light with his cape open and his head down which was just like the cover of the Batman R.I.P. story that Grant wrote years ago.  Well Andy Kubert, co-creator of Damian, is temporarily bringing Damian back from the dead in October for a four issue mini series entitled Damian: Son Of Batman in which Andy will be writing AND Drawing this series.  During an interview with Newsarama, Andy reveals that this is a story that he's been working on the Mini-Series (off and on) since 2008

Here's a quick synopsis of the miniseries, it's a continuation of the event's that happened in Batman #666 where it's 15 years in a future where Damian Wayne is the new Batman (See Above Pic) and he takes the persona on a darker path since Bruce died and the question is what happened that made Damian go down that dark path?  The other question is what happened to Bruce that leads to his death?  Well shown from the pic below, I think I have a theory on how Bruce died that leads Damian to this dark path.

Personally I'm excited for this mini series because Andy Kubert is not only doing the pencil, but he's also inking his pencils just as well.  I'm also excited because this will be Andy's first time writing a comic book so I'm interested to see how his writing is.  Lastly, I'm excited because we get more than just one issue where we see Damian as Batman.  For those interested in the mini series, the first of four issues comes out in October of this year and the price for each issue is still TBD, so stay tuned and when I find out is when you will find out.  Also if you're interested in reading Newsarama's interview with Andy Kubert you can read it right HERE.
